Community Kitchen
Every Monday and Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we warmly invite those in need to join us for a hot meal. We understand how difficult times can be, and our goal is to provide support and comfort to our community members who are hungry.
We serve an average of 700 meals each week.
Food Pantry
God’s Storehouse collaborates with Feeding Southwest Virginia and the Twin County Community Foundation to uplift our community by providing food boxes to those in need within the Twin Counties. We distribute these essential boxes on the first Wednesday of every month at 9:30 a.m., bringing hope and nourishment to our neighbors.
On average, we distribute around 250 food boxes each month containing non-perishable foods along with milk, eggs, and cheese provided by The Twin County Foundation.
Hope Dealers Recovery
Our Galax, Virginia, Celebrate Recovery® program is hosted by a dedicated and loving group referred to as the “Hope Dealers” This program hosts meetings every Thursday starting at 5:30PM EST. Meetings are held at God’s Storehouse and hot meal is served to each guest.
We have an average of 60 participants in Hope Dealers each week.
Walking with The Word
Led by Calvin Griffith, Walking with The Word gathers every Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and uplifting discussions on the teachings of Jesus. You don’t have to believe to belong — come be part of a welcoming community!
