Our Celebrate Recovery group meets every Thursday night at 5:30. This program is open to EVERYONE facing a hurt, habit, or hang-up. Celebrate Recovery is a transformative Christ-based 12-step journey toward healing and renewal.
Celebrate Recovery focuses on “hurts, habits, and hang-ups,” encompassing a wide range of issues that hinder personal growth and relationships. It’s a faith-based program based on the 12 steps and the Beatitudes, offering support for those dealing with addiction, codependency, and other life challenges.
Specific topics addressed in Celebrate Recovery include:
Addiction: Alcohol, drugs, pornography, sex, food, and other addictive behaviors.
Codependency: Difficulties with setting boundaries, sacrificing needs for others, and unhealthy relationship patterns.
Emotional and Mental Health: Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger, fear, and perfectionism.
Relationship Issues: Broken relationships, abuse, betrayal, and dysfunctional family dynamics.
Other Hurts and Hang-ups: Issues related to grief, loss, guilt, shame, and feelings of isolation.
The program also emphasizes:
Acceptance: Recognizing one’s powerlessness and need for help.
Hope: Believing in the possibility of recovery and change.
Faith: Relying on God’s guidance and strength throughout the recovery process.
Community: Finding support and accountability within a group setting.
